Tushingham XR Race 9.5m - Little used £250 - Will sell fast!

With the ending of manufacture at Tushingham, this is a rare opportunity to buy a little used Tushingham XR race 9.5m

The XR 9.5m is highly respected as a longboard race sail and is widely used in all longboard race series - But since last year, they don't make them. Amusingly enough and I guess in relation to the sails unique capability - Boardwise who still have a few - are selling them off at full RRP - unheard of for those guys!

It is what I believe to be the most recent incarnation of the XR-Race - If you are an expert on this, the pictures will enable you to judge...

I have found it suprisingly usable, and not only on race boards - I've used it on large freeride boards and Formula and it's a light wind dream.

The label states Luff MAX - 538cm - I've found it happy at 532cm - So using either a 490 plus LONG extension or ideally a 520 mast and just 12cm of extension. The Boom MAX value of 242cm may be a little optimistic - Think 245cm for when you want it outhauled.

I bought this one for floating around Brogborough Lake on a Thursday night, however, racing has paused so it has to go to make space for new toys.

It's in excellent condition, no holes or repairs. All cams and battens are good. There is a modest amount of grass and goose stain on the luff tube.

I want to offer this to the racing community first, it would be a shame if it spent the rest of it's life sailing without competition...

It can be viewed at Brogborough Lake or in Milton Keynes by arrangement. With a new price of nearly £600, it is priced to sell fast.

Note - Nothing but the sail and it's bag is included. The ideal 100% Carbon 520 Tushingham mast is available at an extra cost.

Starboard Carve, Neil Pryde sails, mast and boom plus other kit

Hi all,

Looking to sell my windsurf kit as follows:
-Starboard Carve 131litre- wood finish, no damage great condition. comes with a fin, can't see what it is from my photos. In good condition, few scraps on the bottom edge.
-Neil Pryde X6 Wave 430 mast, 65% carbon
-Neil Pryde Hybrid 160-210 boom
-Power XT 42 mast footing. Rope needs replacing
-4 Neil Pryde sails- all in good condition. A few bits of wear and tear but still in great condition
-6.5m, 5.7m, 7.2m, 4.9m. All fit the 430 mast (with extender and the boom)
- ALso have a really old 4.5m sail. Only good if you have a child or want the classic look.
Also have boom protector and mast food protector.

Will try and upload photos of all, once I figure out how.

Located in Beccles, nr Lowestoft.

Would rather sell as a job lot, but willing to consider offers.

500 pounds for the lot.

Hi all, got for sale my 550 north platinum as no longer have the sail for it and no longer need it. Always been looked after, Never dropped or banged and in very nice condition. Also hasn't been used more than a handful of times by myself. Small amounts of wear to stickers etc but no damage or wear to mast itself. Comes with mast bag.

It's my entire slalom set up, and now that I don't have the time to compete or use the kit as much as I'd like, I felt it best to sell it to a good home.
